Kelly Griffith has been part of the Fuquay group since 2007. She started out as an intern reporter for the Fuquay-Varina Independent while attending UNC-Pembroke and following graduation with honors, she joined the staff as a reporter. She was promoted to editor of the Garner News in 2008 and became the managing editor of the Wake County Community Newspapers in 2012.

Allyson Betot started as an intern reporter for the Wake County Community Newspapers while attending UNC-Pembroke, where she was the editor of the school paper. She graduated with a B.S. in journalism. In addition to writing for the news, she also writes fiction and enjoys graphic design.
