The Triangle Chapter of the American Red Cross and Wake County Public Libraries are working together to host up to 18 blood drives over the next year. Each of the six Regional Libraries will host a bloodmobile visit three times a year—in August, December, and April. The public is invited to participate in this vital community service collaboration.

The series will begin in August when three Regional Libraries will host the bloodmobile. Following this end-of-summer project, all six libraries will begin the cycle of three visits per Regional per year, with six donation days being planned for December. Please consider offering this life-saving service and register on site:

  • Aug. 27, 2-6:30 p.m. Eva Perry Regional Library, 2100 Shepherd’s Vineyard, Apex;
  • Aug. 30, 2-6:30 p.m. North Regional Library, 7009 Harps Mill Road, Raleigh;
  • Aug. 30, 3-7:30 p.m. Southeast Regional Library, 908 7th Ave., Garner.
