The King’s Sweepstakes business, located at 507 Plaza Circle in Garner, was robbed on Aug. 28 at 9:45 a.m. A lone suspect described as a light complexioned black male, 5’ 9”, wearing a black fedora, sunglasses, blue button up shirt with a large emblem on the back, black pants and white tennis shoes entered the business and committed the crime by displaying a weapon to an employee. The suspect left the business on foot with currency. There were no reported injuries.
