The owl release scheduled for tomorrow at Garner's White Deer Park (see attached original news release) has been rescheduled for this Friday at around 11 a.m. (you should plan to arrive by about 10:45). It is not advisable to release the birds in the rain and inclement weather. Their release will be their inaugural flight, and the goal is to allow the transition to the wild to be as smooth as possible. The weather for Friday looks ideal for a release, and we look forward to introducing these barred owls to their new home at White Deer Park.
