May 4 marked a historic day for the Town of Garner. Years of planning, support and fundraisers culminated at the Garner Veterans Memorial dedication ceremony. Local author publishes second children’s book
Local author, Judy Townsan, has lived in the Garner-Cleveland area for over seven years. Townsan appeared at Aversboro Coffee on May 4 for a book signing event for her latest children’s book, “The Story Lady.” Her first book, “The Wishing Flower,” came out in 2009. “The Story Lady” is Townsan’s second book.
