Home receives extensive damage in blaze
  Garner Fire officials responded to a house fire last week. Although officials were able to get the fire under control quickly, they were not able to save the home.   According to Garner Fire Rescue Chief Matthew Poole, Garner fire officials received a report of a fire at 2:04 p.m. on May 14 at 8414 Fawncrest Drive . Garner Police canine units earn recognition
The Garner Police Department’s canine units recently won several awards and finished first as a team in a certification event held in Holly Springs. There were 21 dogs from nine different agencies across North and South Carolina.
