Students honor unidentified fallen soldiers
The Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery is a historic and important monument dedicated to unidentified, fallen American soldiers from World War I, World War II and the Korean War. This monument is more commonly known as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Fifth graders from Rand Road Elementary visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and several other monuments while on their trip to Washington, D.C., on March 7-8.
