Charles Rufus Fish, Sr.
Charles Rufus Fish, Sr., 79, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Rex Hospital. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Arthur Ray Fish and Carrie Fish. The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 6 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel in Garner. Burial followed at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his daughter, Pat Guess and significant other, Del Kingsland of Greenville; sister, Christine F. Bodeau of Fuquay-Varina; special nephew, Ben Fish of Garner; grandchildren, Marisa Smith and husband, Steven of Browns Summit and Whitney Fish of Fuquay-Varina, as well as his daughter-in-law, Tammy Coley, also of Fuquay-Varina. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles Fish, Jr. The family received friends Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
