The following local residents were among 121 students who graduated from Peace College this spring.

• Melyury Espinoza-Calix, a Spanish major from Garner, N.C.
• Cynthia Goodmon, a Business major from Garner, N.C.
• Deretha Grimes, a Psychology major from Garner, N.C.
• Brooke Walton, a Business major from Garner, N.C.
Peace College is a four-year baccalaureate liberal arts and sciences college located in North Carolina’s vibrant capital city. Peace’s educational program is consistently ranked in the top 10 percent in several categories of the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).
Exclusively an all-female institution for its first 152 years, Peace began offering coeducational evening courses through the William Peace School of Professional Studies in 2009 and remains a women’s college for its day program.
