At this year’s Cow Appreciation Day 1,251 “Raving Fans” showed up in cow costumes at the two Garner Chick-fil-A locations on July 8. Cow Appreciation Day is “an unofficial—yet nationally recognized holiday” according to the Chick-fil-A website. Those dressed in full cow attire, from head to hoof, received a free combo meal, while those dressed in partial cow attire received a free entrée.
