Rains, who has spent the past 29 years in the insurance industry, has obtained the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. He is married to Vicky Rains, who serves as assistant principal as McGee’s Cross Roads Elementary. The couple has two children: Logan and Anna Rains. Rains serves as Mayor of Princeton, and is President of the Princeton Lions Club.
