Kids’ art wall coming soon

Is your child a budding artist? Would they like to display their work for the public? We are looking for three to six pieces of original art to hang in the Youth Services Area. The medium is limited only to what can be hung on a wall—beyond that be as creative as possible. Children ages 4-12 can apply to display their masterpieces for one month as a featured artist. For more information, contact Sarah Kramer at 662-2263 or email her at sarah.kramer@wakegov.com. Applications for the art wall are now available.

Submissions will be displayed in the order they are received

Read aloud book club for young readers The Southeast Regional Library will be starting a book club for children in Kindergarten through second grade. Each month we will be reading and talking about a selected book, followed by a book-related craft. Children do not need to be independent readers to participate in the club. Space in the club will be limited to 12 kids and registration is required. Stop by the Youth Services desk or call 662-2263.
