Arrests

Police charged Cleotilde Galeana Marin, 27, and Maria Guadalupe Ochoa, 24, both of Raleigh, with larceny from Wal-Mart on Aug. 11.

Carla Garcia Bautista, 22, Karina Garcia Bautista, 27, Zeferina Marin-Hernandez, 24, all of Raleigh, were charged with larceny from Super K-Mart on Aug. 11.

Victor Orlando Soto-Siles, 35, of Garner, was charged with larceny from Super K-Mart on Aug. 12.

Alfredo Contrero Garcia, 42, of Garner, was charged with assault on Aug. 12.

John Paul Ellis Maagnacca, 25, of Raleigh, was charged with larceny from Super K-Mart on Aug. 13.

Breanna Erison-Rex, 34, of Apex, was charged with larceny from Super K-Mart on Aug. 13.

William Leonard Baker, 33, of Saint Paul, was charged with trespassing at Intown Suites on Aug. 13.

Michael Darnell Jones, 41, of Raleigh, was charged with larceny from Super K-Mart on Aug.

Thefts

Police are continuing to investigate a burglary that occurred at a home on Foley Drive on Aug. 11. The suspect entered through a front door causing $150 in damages.

Management at Ditch Witch on US 70 reported a burglary on Aug. 11. A Lenovo laptop computer, valued at $1,300, was reported stolen. The case is under further investigation.

An arrest was made in a burglary that occurred on Aug. 11 at a home on Chatham Court.

A vacuum cleaner was reported stolen from a vehicle that was in the parking lot of Food Lion on Fifth Avenue on Aug. 12. The case is under further investigation.

Police responded to a burglary at a residence on Poplar Avenue on Aug. 12. Entry into the home was through a rear window. A Gateway laptop computer, valued at $1,050 and Colt 45 service revolver, with a value of $1,000 were reported stolen. The case is under further investigation.

A Lenovo laptop computer and several other items were reported stolen during a burglary at a residence on Ford Gates Drive on Aug. 12.

Police are continuing to investigate a burglary that occurred at a residence on Benson Road on Aug. 12. The suspect entered through a side door causing $300 in damages.

A Kenmore refrigerator, a fireplace mantle, curtains and blinds were reported stolen from a residence on Winterlochen Road on Aug. 12.

Police are continuing to investigate an alleged strong-arm robbery that occurred at Westchester Apartments on Aug. 14 when a Papa Johns Pizza driver was robbed of his wallet and cash.

A forcible entry burglary was reported at Smithfield's Chicken and BBQ on Aug. 14. A drive through window and a safe were damaged. The case is under further investigation.

Protection Services Inc. on Old Mechanical Blvd. reported a burglary on Aug. 14. Numerous items were reported stolen. The case is under further investigation.

Other crimes

Vandalism was reported at South Garner Park on Aug. 11. A sidewalk and two light poles were tagged with graffiti.
