Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! The program is sponsored by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). Nominators are members of teen book groups in fifteen school and public libraries around the country. One of the 15 groups this year is from Wake County’s own Eva Perry Library in Apex, N.C.

Now the vote goes to teens all over the country. Readers ages twelve to eighteen can vote right online, anytime between Aug. 25 and Sept. 18; the winners will be announced in a webcast featuring WWE Superstars and Divas during Teen Read Week.

Teens, it’s your American duty to vote and have your voice heard. Don’t stand by while others have a say; take a stand and help choose the best of the best! You can check out all of the nominated titles from Wake County’s libraries. The titles this year are from a wide variety of genres.

This year Teen Read Week is Oct. 18-24. Learn the winners of Teen Top Ten voting, become a member of our new teen book club, and more!

More information as we have it in the teen section of the library.
