The Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet Sept. 24 celebrates the year’s successes and features the installation of the new Board of Directors Chair.

This is an upscale evening with a reception and dinner. Expected attendance is 175 business leaders, chamber members, elected officials and community members.

This year promises to be the biggest and best ever. The venue is the Grand Marquise Ballroom at Fidelity Park. Opening just this month, it is one of the finest facilities in the region. Those attending will be among the first to experience the elegance of this brand new ballroom.

WRAL’s national-award winning anchor David Crabtree is our keynote speaker. The winner of ten Emmys, Mr. Crabtree is a highly sought after speaker. Neal Padgett, President of the Chamber, stated that “we are honored that Mr. Crabtree accepted our invitation to speak.”

Home from an international concert tour, trumpeter Tom Browne is the evening’s featured entertainer. As a recording artist, the Garner resident has achieved the number one spot on the R&B charts.

Chamber member Caffe Luna will present an incredible buffet of Italian cuisine.
