A minor, 17, of Garner, was charged with hit and run on September 16.
Stephen Zachary Concannon, 31, of Clayton, was charged with driving while impaired on September 18.
Patrick Dale Monroe, 38, of Angier, was charged with driving while impaired on September 18.
Mary Magalene Smith, 42, of Raleigh, was charged with shoplifting from Wal-Mart on September 18.
Robert Louis Brown, 58, was charged with trespassing at Food Lion on Fifth Avenue on September 19.
Luis Miguel Macedo, 21, of Clayton, was charged with larceny from Super K-Mart on September 19.
Ghassan Hassan Issa, 35, of Clayton, was charged with resisting arrest on September 19.
Thefts
Police are continuing to investigate an attempted robbery that occurred at Forest Hills Apartments on September 16. A firearm was brandished during the crime.
An unoccupied house on Johnson Street sustained $10,000 from fire damage on September 15.
Police are treating it as arson and are continuing to investigate the case.
Management at Lowe's Foods on Aversboro Road reported the theft of dog food, detergent and beer on September 16. The items were valued at $80.
Police are continuing their investigation of a burglary that occurred at Sprint Nextel Tower on September 17. The suspect entered through a front door and removed an estimated $7,000 worth of copper.
Text books, a purse containing various forms of identification, cash, and several other items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot at Forest Hills Apartments on September 17. The case is under further investigation.
Several bags of Beneful dog food were reported stolen from Food Lion on Fayetteville Road on September 17. Police are continuing to investigate the theft.
A suspect gained entry into two vehicles parked at Outback Steakhouse on September 17 and removed several items from each car. A GPS unit and Sony IPod were reported stolen. Damage to the vehicles was estimated at $200 each.
Two businesses located on Shenstone Blvd. were reported burglarized on September 18. The suspect entered GameStop and Payless Shoes through rear doors. Neither business was occupied at the time of the crime. Reports do not indicate that anything was stolen, however, the suspect damaged a wall to the tune of $1,000. The CCBI was called to assist the police in their investigation.
An air conditioner unit, valued at $3,000, was reported stolen from a residence on Meadowbrook Road on September 18.
Police are continuing to investigate a fraud case that occurred at Wachovia Bank on US Hwy 70 on September 18.
The owner of a 2001 Mitsubishi parked at White Oak Cinemas reported his vehicle which contained a Dell laptop computer was stolen on September 18. The vehicle was later recovered on Jones Sausage Road but the laptop was not found.
Police are continuing to investigate a burglary that occurred at a residence on Vandora Springs Road on September 18. The suspect forced their way into the unoccupied home through a rear door.
Cash was reported stolen from a home on Henry Drive on September 20.
A Liz Claiborne purse containing cash and numerous other items was reported stolen from a home on Claymore Drive on September 20.
Other crimes
A resident on Steel Hopper Way reported damage to two vehicles tires on September 18. The tires were valued at $400.
