Goblins in the Park Celebrate Halloween Oct. 30 at Lake Benson Park from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with this free Fall event. There will be crafts, carnival games with prizes, hayrides, a haunted trail and a costume contest at 7 p.m. The contest age groups are 2 & under, 3-5, 6-9 and 10-18.

Korny Corn Maze Come get lost in our six-acre corn maze (more than two and a half miles of paths) from now through Nov. 15 at Ken’s Produce of Garner. Also available are a children’s play area, a rope maze, hayrides, picnic areas and more. The maze is open Fridays from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 7 p.m. Flashlights are required after 6 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults, $8 for children 6-12, $4 for children 3-5 and children under 3 get in free. Kids 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. No drop-offs will be permitted. And don’t miss out on the haunted house, trails and corn maze Oct. 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31. Terror at Possum Creek: No Vacancy Possum Creek Resort & Spa will be more terrifying than ever this year with two haunts in one location! Terror at Possum Creek: No Vacancy is open October 15-17, 22-25 and 28-31. Hours are 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 7 to 10 p.m. all other days. The 2009 Raleigh Jaycees Haunted House is located in the former Circuit City building at 4601 Creedmoor Road in Raleigh. This is at the intersection of Creedmoor Road and Glenwood Avenue and is across the street from Crabtree Valley Mall.
