Dear Editor,

I have known Amaka Flynn for several years. During this time, she has demonstrated strong leadership skills and dedication when working on various issues and projects. She will use these same characteristics while serving as a council member and working to improve the quality of life for Garner citizens. This is why I am supporting Amaka to become one of the next Garner town council members. Amaka loves Garner and wants to promote and market Garner to retain and attract businesses. This will create a strong workforce in Garner. As a mother of two children attending Garner schools, she would work as an advocate to improve Garner schools. She has a vision for the town council to develop strong working relation with the school board that would create win-win solutions. This would provide a better learning environment for students and improve student achievement. Garner needs her leadership and energy on the Garner town council to move us forward.

I want to let the citizens of garner know that Amaka Flynn will be the best canidate for garner town council. Amaka has vision and I know when she sets her mind to something she follows through. Amaka has a way with people that makes her able to listen with insight and compassion, she is a caring person, yet firm when she needs to be. She is not a yes person and will have all citizens of garner in mind when making decisions. instead of incumbants letting me know what they have done i want someone like Amaka that will tell me what she is going to do for me and how she will get there. vote amaka for town council you will ge glad you did.

I dont know who is blogging about amaka being for big government when the 2 incumbants running currently supported a sanitation contract that cost garner citizens over 100,000 dollars over a three year peroid because they were afraid that the low bidder would not pick up yard waste. all they had to do was give them a chance and see how they did. seems to me the 2 incumbants are for big spending and big government. one more thing why are the 2 incumbants all of sudden talking about a community center and its been on the for 30 yrs seems they are saying things they want people to hear.

I had to disagree but, After debate upon debate the writing on the wall, is as clear as the stickers on the car she drives. Amaka Flynn, is just going to bring larger government, spending and control to Garner without bringing Quick and Cost Saving Results.

At every meeting her results end up being, appoint a committee or get a team to research that ...

We don't need bigger, more expensive Government Intervention... we need leaders who can make decisions and move our town forward.

Amaka Flynn has not shown that she can do this.
