Military Missions In Action has recently received an email from a commander in Iraq; the following is a portion of that email:

“I am an Infantry Company Commander currently deployed to Iraq. I have 154 men in my Company. We only recently deployed and are not scheduled to return until July 2010 My Company resides in a remote combat outpost (one of the last of its kind). As such, we do not have regular access to normal amenities. I’m interested in your offer to send packages to deployed Soldiers. Care packages would be a great source of motivation for my men.”

MMIA has adopted this unit for the duration of their deployment and will be collecting items to send care packages.

We like to ensure that each of the men get and individual package.
