Brian Donnell Lane, 23, of Garner, was charged with a contempt of court violation on Oct. 25.
Jesse Antawon Lane, 20, of Raleigh, was served with a contempt of court violation on Oct. 25.
Thefts
A silver mountain bike was reported stolen from a residence on Forest Ridge Road on Oct. 22.
Bank of America reported a suspect passed a counterfeit check in excess of $900 on Oct. 21. The case is under further investigation.
Garner Gold N Pawn reported the theft of four CD's on Oct. 22.
Management at Greenbrier Cleaners reported the theft of two German fur blankets valued at $300 on Oct. 23.
Police are continuing to investigate a burglary that occurred at Dominos Pizza on Oct. 24. The suspect forced their way into the unoccupied business through a side door and stole a cash door along with the money.
An attempted robbery with the use of a firearm that occurred on Oct. 24 at Burger King is under further investigation.
Numerous electronic items were reported stolen from a residence on Valley Vista Court on Oct. 26. The case is under further investigation.
Other crimes
Police were dispatched to a residence on Meadowbrook Road on Oct. 22 concerning a communication of threats.
Police are continuing to investigate an assault that occurred at a residence on Forest Ridge Road on Oct. 24.
A 2003 Ford was the target of vandalism in the parking lot of United Artist Theater on Oct. 24.
A window at a residence at Greenbrier Apartments was reportedly damaged on Oct. 26
