New location, extended hours for Annual Book Sale

Plans are being rushed to host the 2009 Wake County Public Libraries’ Book Sale. The sale has moved to a new location on the edge of Garner, N.C. and it will be open two additional days for ease of shopping.

See the schedule below for hours and dates. The sale offers 300,000 books at bargain prices. Only cash and checks are acceptable for payment. Customers are encouraged to bring hand trucks and/or push carts. The sale will be held at 1514 Garner Station Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27603 in the South Station Shopping Center. The shopping center is an immediate right turn from Highway 401 South, just after the Highway 401South/Highway 70 East split, south of Raleigh, on the edge of Garner. The site is a former Compare Foods (and Winn Dixie) and is located across the parking lot from Hudson Belk. Dates and hours

▪ Nov. 18: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

▪ Nov. 19: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

▪ Nov. 20: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Prices for the first five days are $4 for hardbound books and $1 for paperbacks.

▪ Nov. 21: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Half Price Day: hardbound books cost $2; paperbacks cost $.50.

▪ Nov. 22: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

$5 per box, $2 per bag. Bags and boxes provided by the library---customer packs.
