Town Clerk Judy Bass administers the oath to Garner’s new Police Chief Brandon Zuidema at the Garner Historic Auditorium Dec. 4 while his wife, Spring, and daughters Megan and Molly look on. Zuidema said he was welcomed with open arms into Garner and his first week on the job proved to be what he expected. His family and many members of the Lynchburg, Va. Police Department, where Zuidema left, were present.
