The holiday season is traditionally a time of goodwill towards others. In keeping with the spirit of the season, the Piedmont Classic Chevy Club of Raleigh donated $6,000 to local charitable organizations this year. Pictured with the Lanier’s 1968 Chevy Camaro is PCCC member Sara Lanier and USO of N.C. RDU. Director Michael Langley accepting a $500 check from the club.

Each year the USO provides thousands of military members a comfortable place to relax and refresh while awaiting transportation to and from RDU and relies on charitable contributions. The Laniers’ son, Joe, is currently serving his second tour in Iraq. Sara is a retired military veteran and resides in the Cleveland Community with her husband, Noel, the current VP of the PCCC.

The Piedmont Classic Chevy Club is a non-profit organization, which raises money through its annual car show, parade events and cruise-ins. Their website can be found at www.piedmontccc.com. For more information on the N.C. USO and how you can donate go to www.uso-nc.org.

From all at the Piedmont Classic Chevy Club A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
