Lincoln Heights Elelemntary School fourth graders asked their school mates to collect items to send to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq. Their two-week effort was a success. Pictured with the fourth grade students are Mrs. Elizabeth Wickham, their teacher (back right) and Mr. John Finger (back middle), who is Vice Commander of the Disabled American Veterans for the state of North Carolina and who arranged for the supplies to be sent to our troops fighting in Iraq.
