Hospice and Palliative Care Center Dedication There will be a public dedication of the Hospice and Palliative Care Center on Saturday Jan. 9, 2010. A time of remembrance will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a door opening ceremony at 1 p.m. and a sculpture dedication at 3:30 p.m. Drop in throughout the day for tours, special events and refreshments. The Hospice and Palliative Care Center is located at 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh NC 27607. Parking will be available at Raleigh Neurology, 1540 Sunday Drive on the corner of Trinity Road and Sunday Drive. (There will be a courtesy shuttle running on a continuous basis.) Bible Buddies New Life Wesleyan Church is offering Bible Buddies, a special needs class, for ages K-5th. Military Families Connection This is a group of military families that live away from a base, who meet to learn from and lean on each other. It is very important to be with others that are going through the same thing that you are. We can help you through the difficult time when your loved one is in harm’s way, or will be deployed soon. Scouts Needed Troop 397 meets every Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Mary Mother of Church in Garner (1008 Vandora Springs Road).
