The Garner Parks and Recreation announces that the Winter Program Brochure is available during office hours today at Town Hall (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.), the Garner Senior Center (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.), White Deer Park (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Avery Street Recreation Center (2 p.m. – 5 p.m.). People wishing to register for classes today may visit Town Hall located at 900 7th Avenue between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Only cash and checks will be accepted today.

Offices and indoor facilities will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1.

On Saturday, Jan. 2, White Deer Park will be open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. to accept walk in registration. It will also be open on Sunday, Jan. 3 from noon – 5 p.m.

Avery Street Recreation Center will be open on Saturday, Jan. 2 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. so you can register for programs.

The Garner Parks and Recreation Department website, www.GarnerParks.org, has been redesigned and is in a state of transition. Once this process is complete, participants will be able to easily find program information and register online.
