Are you interested in art? We have an opportunity for you to show off your talents!
Southeast Regional Library is looking for youth that like to draw, sketch, or paint. We are in need of youthful artists to create artworks of a favorite short story or poem. The images created will be scanned into an electronic formal and presented in a slide show at the Garner Targets the Arts Festival on Saturday, Mar. 13.
The artwork needs to be fashioned in portrait layout and be no larger than 8½”x11” in size and must be received by Feb. 20. Please include a separate sheet including the artist’s name, age, email, phone contact, and (if applicable) details concerning what story or poem is being illustrated. Interested artists should inquire in person at the Youth Services desk or by calling 662-2263.
