Arrests

Michael Donell Smith, 54, of Raleigh, was charged with larceny on Dec. 21.

James William Camp, 59, of Willow Spring, was charged with larceny on Dec. 22.

Anthony Leon Brantley Jr., 21, of Raleigh, was charged with fraud on Dec. 24.

Deirea Denise Smith, 28, of Garner, was charged with fraud on Dec. 24.

Marcus Lee Williams, 38, of Garner was charged with larceny on Dec. 24.

Thefts

A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle at Forest Hills Apartments on Dec. 21.

Police are continuing their investigation of fraud that was reported at The Pit Stop on Dec. 22.

Police responded to a report of a burglary at a residence on Hilltop Drive on Dec. 23. The suspect gained entry into the unoccupied dwelling through a rear window and removed men's work gloves, wallets and a hand saw. The case is under further investigation.

Police are continuing their investigation of a larceny that occurred at Britt Mechanical on Dec. 24.

A ladies purse containing cash and two gold rings, valued at $3,000, was reported stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Garner Ale House on Dec. 23. The case is under further investigation.

A burglary was reported at Radioactive Car Audio on Dec. 23. The suspect forced their way into the business through a side door and stole numerous items. Police are continuing to investigate the burglary.

Counterfeit money was reportedly passed at BJ's Wholesale Club on Dec. 23.

Police are continuing to investigate a larceny at a residence on Kenbrook Drive on Dec. 23. A credit card and prescription medication was reported stolen.

Management at BJ's Wholesale Club reported that a suspect stole a digital photo frame, valued at $129, on Dec. 23.

The owner of a 2001 Nissan reported someone stole a GPS unit and a purse while the vehicle was in the parking lot at White Oak Shopping Center on Dec. 23.

An attempted burglary was reported at F&G Distributing on Dec. 24.

The larceny of a license plate from a Ford Explorer was reported on Dec. 24. The vehicle was in the parking area at Kohl's.

Various merchandise, totaling $230, was reported stolen from Lowe's Food on Dec. 26.

Other crimes

Police are continuing to investigate a sex offense case that allegedly occurred at a residence on Lorraine Drive on Dec. 23.

A wooden privacy fence at a residence on Powell Drive was reported marred with graffiti on Dec. 25.
