Symphony “Latin Fiesta” North Carolina Symphony Music Director Grant Llewellyn and special guests Mariachi Cobre take families on an hour-long musical tour of Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Peru with “Latin Fiesta,” the second installment of the 2009-10 Young People’s Concert Series at Meymandi Concert Hall at downtown Raleigh’s Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Saturday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. Mariachi Cobre will also be performing on the North Carolina Symphony’s Pops series on Jan. 15 and 16 at 8 p.m. at Meymandi Concert Hall with an expanded evening concert program. Bible Buddies New Life Wesleyan Church is offering Bible Buddies, a special needs class, for ages K-5th. Military Families Connection This is a group of military families that live away from a base, who meet to learn from and lean on each other. It is very important to be with others that are going through the same thing that you are. We can help you through the difficult time when your loved one is in harm’s way, or will be deployed soon.
