A Challenge You Can Really Sink Your Teeth Into, Feb. 1–Mar. 14

Are you a student in grades 6–12? Do you write poetry? Now's the time to get inspired!

Enter the 2010 Wake County Public Libraries Teen Poetry Contest and you could win!

Entry Guidelines:

Submit one original poem (as a Microsoft Word Document) on a theme of your choice to studentpoetry@wakegov.com.

Submissions will be accepted from Feb. 1 through Mar. 14, 2010.

Be sure to include your:

* Name

* Phone Number

* Name of School

* Grade

All entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Mar. 14. Winners will be notified in early April. Selected poems will be included in a chapbook published by Wake County Public Libraries. Winning poets will be invited to read their poems on Sunday, Apr. 25, 2010, 2 p.m., at Cameron Village Regional Library, 1930 Clark Ave., Raleigh, NC.
