Ferguson Chiedozie Maduako, 21, of Garner, was charged with larceny on Jan. 20.
Vernessa Elizabeth Evans, 37, of Garner, was charged with contempt of court on Jan. 20.
Raymond Michael Sanders, 32, of Garner, was charged with assault on Jan. 22.
Kevin Alfreod Alvear, 17, of Selma, was charged with larceny on Jan. 23.
Jeancarlo Rivera, 17, of Selma, was charged with larceny on Jan. 23.
Cesar Antonio Herrera, 17, of Selma, was charged with larceny on Jan. 23.
Christian Dontez Jones II, of Raleigh, was charged with contempt of court on Jan. 23.
Thefts
Police are continuing to investigate the theft of a Visa check card from the Laurels of Forest Glen on Jan. 19.
Fraud was reported by management of Best Buy on Jan. 20.
Fraud also occurred at Food Lion on Timber Drive on Jan. 20. The case is under further investigation.
Miscellaneous alcoholic beverages were reported stolen from Kickback Jacks on Jan. 21. Police are continuing to investigate the theft.
A portable DVD player was reported stolen from a vehicle on Solheim Lane on Jan. 21.
A credit card was reported stolen from East Garner Elementary School on Jan. 21. The case is under further investigation.
Police are continuing to investigate the reported theft of a cell phone from East Garner middle School on Jan. 21.
A GPS unit was reported stolen from a vehicle at a residence on Dragon Fly Court on Jan. 21.
Police are continuing their investigation of a robbery that occurred at Subway on Jan. 21. The suspect brandished a firearm and stole approximately $700 in cash.
An assault was reported at Garner Ale House on Jan. 21. The case is under further investigation.
Police asked the SBI to take over an alleged embezzlement from the Garner Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Initially, the amount of missing money was thought to be around $10,000, however, last week officials said more than $300,000 was missing.
A woman’s purse was the target of a theft from a vehicle parked at Old Time Barbecue on Jan. 22. Several other items were also reported missing from the car.
Police are continuing their investigation of a larceny from Pier One Imports on Jan. 24.
Other crimes
Police are continuing to investigate a reported case of a suspect illegally discharging a firearm within the town limits on Jan. 20.
Police responded to a call of communicating threats on Jan. 24 at a residence on Whithorne Drive. The case is under further investigation.
