Clyde's Chapel Spring Brunswick Stew and Barbecued Chicken Sale On Saturday, Mar. 20, Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church will hold its Spring Brunswick stew and barbecued chicken sale. Adult buffet plates (dine-in) are $7 for all the Brunswick stew and chicken you can eat. Children ages 6-12 eat for $3 and younger children eat for free. A quart of Brunswick stew is $6. Clayton Teen Fest 2010 The Clayton Teen Fest 2010 will be held Saturday, Mar. 20 at 4 p.m. at the Clayton Civitan Football Field. The American Legion Post 116 Easter Egg Hunt The American Legion Post 116 in Fuquay-Varina will be having their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday Mar. 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. open to the public for kids ages 1 through 12. 2010 Garner Relay for Life Fundraisers All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life! There will also be a car wash Saturday, Apr. 10 at the Southern Trace Pool, 1137 Southern Trace Trail from 8 a.m. to noon. This will coincide with the Southern Trace Spring Community Yard Sale. Basket Bingo will be held Friday, Apr. 23 at Garner Relay for Life at Lake Benson Park in Garner at 7:30 p.m. in the survivor’s tent. Each card to play bingo will be $10 and participant can play as many games as we have baskets.
Chairs of Hope Project The Vandora Springs Art Club and staff members are currently beginning to work on their annual Chairs of Hope Project. Over 20 wooden chairs will be transformed into one of a kind pieces of art to benefit the Garner-area Relay For Life and The American Cancer Society. This year's theme is Broadway Shows/songs.
