Camp Kaleidoscope is based out of the Avery Street Recreation Center and begins on Monday, Jun. 14. Parks and Recreation welcomes campers who have completed grades kindergarten through seventh. The doors to fun open each morning at 7:30 a.m., and children must be picked up by 6 p.m. Campers must bring their own lunch and afternoon snack each day. The weekly fee for Town of Garner residents is $75 per child and $98 for non-residents. In order to ensure everyone has a great time and there is a one to 12 ratio, there is a maximum of 48 children per week. Financial assistance is available for Garner residents with limited financial resources. There also is a weekly deposit system in place to assist with budgeting for the entire summer.
