The Garner Revitalization Association (GRA) had planned to launch a Farmers Market in Downtown Garner this spring to feature local produce and products. Unfortunately, a lack of farmers, vendors and volunteers has forced GRA to postpone the launch of the market to next spring.

“We think the farmers market will be a great way to bring people to Downtown Garner” said GRA Executive Director John Hodges. “We are disappointed that we could not launch this spring, but more time is needed to recruit enough vendors and volunteers to make the market successful.”

Planning for the market will continue through the summer and an organizational meeting will be held in the fall. Vendors and volunteers who are interested in participating are encouraged to contact the GRA office at 773-4402 or by email at downtowngarner@nc.rr.com.
