Teens enjoyed making pinhole cameras during the Summer Reading Kickoff last week at the Southeast Regional Library. Young crafters gather behind the scenes during the Pigeon Puppets show at Storytime Express. Also, children made Ping Pong Catapults at the Who Sunk My Battleship Storytime Express. Fish the Magish helped kick off the Summer Reading program with a magic show. Many children gathered around at the library last week to enjoy Fish the Magfish and his spectacular show. Children made and tried out their “Foamerators” while they enjoyed the Summer Reading Kickoff. A child has some help making a bookmark at the Summer Reading Kickoff last week. Children also got to make Neptune’s Crowns during Storytime Express and T-shirts.

There is a lot more fun in store for readers this summer at the Southeast Regional Library. Make sure to check out the Garner News each week for upcoming events.
