Gerald and Elizabeth Matthews, of Raleigh, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christin Matthews, of Greenville, to Jason Harman, of Southern Pines. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Naomi Lee, of Raleigh, and the late Buddy Lee, and the late George and Audrey Matthews, formerly of Angier.

The groom-elect is the son of Ted and Nancy Harman, of Jackson Springs, and the grandson of Pickett and Annabel Stanback, of Wadesboro, and Catherine Harman, of Candor, and the late Patt Harman Jr. A Saturday, July 24, 2010, wedding is planned in Fuquay-Varina.
