Clear the calendar for Friday, Sept. 16.

PROCLAIM! ~ an evening of celebration and praise through the Christian performing arts will be held at Garner Historic Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and are general admission.

All of the proceeds from the performance will benefit Community of Hope Ministries in Garner.

The show is the dream and passion of AltarNative Ministries director, Kim Yarborough. Kim is not a stranger to the performing arts. She is the owner of Step Ahead Dance Studio near the I-40 and Hwy 42 interchange. Kim has been dreaming about bringing a Christian praise celebration like this to Garner.

“Combining a Christian arts showcase with an opportunity to give back to an organization which exists to serve the Lord just made it the right idea at the right time. Our hope is that ‘Proclaim’ will be a time of praise and worship. I am confident that the Garner community will realize just how many talented artists there are in the area who are using their gifts to honor the Lord.”

Community of Hope Ministries is a Christian non-profit ministry serving the at-risk and needy in the Garner area. Community of Hope operates a free afterschool tutoring program for at-risk youth, a food pantry, a transitional housing program, a summer camp and a carpenter’s hands ministry.

For more information or to order tickets to the show call Kim Yarborough at 986-0224.
